everything Monolith is willing to release about the game before its
release this fall. There are a number of exclusive screens, including
the first published shots of the Ohio level. Oh, and a picture of a
damn sexy mime.
It will be on newsstands around the beginning of July and subscribers
should be receiving the issue in the next couple of weeks.

A new gadget will feature an exploding cat.
There will be a indicator that tells you where a hiding place is.
It flashes when your in site of it and stops when your hidden. The
AI can walk right up to you and not see you unless you move or make
a sound.
Almost anything that you can hear the AI can hear.
Stealth is almost crucial, though it is not required. They are
eliminating failing missions by just being seen or setting off alarms.
You can create hiding places by breaking, unscrewing or turning
off light bulbs. If you turn it off and the AI hears you he値l turn
it on again and detect you.
The game begins with you in Japan. Your objective is to take pictures
of to nasty thugs.
There will be ninjas with swords, crossbows and throwing stars.
You値l start with a taser that only stuns your enemies.
Instead of just picking up weapons from enemies, you have to search
them. You can also find intelligence items this way.
Nearly anything in the environment can make a noise, even if you
just bump into it.
When the AI sees someone on the ground, they値l think there sleeping
and try to wake them up. If they don稚, they sound and alarm.
When AI have heard a disturbance, they値l come and investigate.
When they致e heard gun shots, they値l start searching the area. There
will be primary objectives, but there will also be secondary objectives.
These do not have to be completed, but you earn skill points if you
do. These objectives will be risky, but you will earn loads of rewards.
Skill points can be assigned to certain skills like stealth.
You値l have the ability to lose your assailants.
You can trick the AI: For example, when you open a file cabinet,
the AI will know that its supposed to be closed and get suspicious.
It will have 20 times as many polys, with double the frame rates.
NOLF2 will be able to run well on a bad computer, but excellent
on a good one.
